If you want to maximize your dungeon runs in Aion 2, managing your dungeon tickets smartly is the name of the game. Tickets are limited, and wasting them on content you can’t clear efficiently is a common trap. Here’s how to farm smarter, not harder.
1. Prioritize High-Yield Ticket Sources
Dungeon tickets—like the Bio-Research Base Challenge Tickets—come mostly from daily and weekly tasks rather than random drops. Focus on the reliable sources first:
- Daily Duty Missions – You can complete up to 5 missions per day. Each mission provides tickets and keys that are crucial for your farming loop. Treat these as your bread-and-butter ticket source.
- Weekly Command Quests – Up to 12 per week, these reward materials and currencies that make sustainable farming possible. Skipping them is leaving tickets on the table.
- Marketplace & Exchange – Once you hit your weekly free-entry cap, you can trade Kinah for Kuna to buy extra tickets directly. This is a safety net for hardcore farming sessions.
2. Optimize Ticket Usage (The "Efficiency Rule")
Since tickets are limited, it’s important to get the most out of every run.
- Free Entries First – Always use your 7 weekly free entries before spending earned or purchased tickets. They don’t roll over, so it’s wasted potential if you hoard them.
- Avoid the iLvl Trap – Conquest mode dungeons have strict DPS and gear checks. Don’t use tickets there unless your item level is 200–300 above the requirement. Until then, focus on Exploration Mode for cleaner, faster runs.
- Score-Based Scaling – In Daily Dungeons, rewards like Enhancement Stones scale with your performance. Clear waves quickly to maximize what each ticket gives you.
3. Farm Without Tickets: Fire Temple Exploration
When tickets run out, the Fire Temple (Exploration Mode) is your go-to loop:
- No Ticket Needed – Each run costs just 30 Oda Energy instead of a ticket.
- High Drop Rate – Gold (Unique) gear drops around 20–40%, far higher than typical dungeon rates (1.5–5%).
- Speed – Characters level 45+ can clear it solo in minutes. This makes it perfect for filling time between weekly resets.
4. Use Alts to Funnel Resources
Aion 2 rewards account-wide progression, so alts can significantly boost your efficiency:
- Account Warehouse – Send Kinah and non-bound materials from alt-run dungeons to the warehouse. Your main character can then use these to buy tickets or gear.
- Weekly Limits – Each alt has their own 7 weekly entries for key material dungeons (like the Odelium Repository). Use them to farm pet fragments, stones, and other account-wide resources, then funnel everything to your main character.
